How recommerce keeps opportunity moving

TJDG was built around a bigger idea: use recommerce to create real opportunity and direct relief. A portion of proceeds from our pop ups, auctions, and special events goes directly back into our communities to support women rebuilding their lives, aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and seniors navigating life transitions.

Purpose in Action:

  • Direct Relief & Life Assistance: Providing immediate, practical support, including college scholarships for higher education, as well as essential assistance like gas cards, grocery cards, and direct help covering utility bills and rising healthcare costs.
  • Entrepreneurship & Vocational Training: Coaching, digital tools, and hands on training help single mothers and aspiring founders launch their own online marketplace shops and vintage businesses.
  • Fresh Starts & Ethical Advocacy: Providing direct financial support and seed funding for women navigating severe hardship. For senior citizens in need, we frequently waive our listing and consignment commissions entirely, taking zero cut so they retain 100% of their estate’s value.

We believe the circular economy can do more than keep great stuff out of landfills. It can keep opportunity moving, too.
